Every thing I have read on the negative reviews is absolutely true. You can document something four or five times and never get anywhere with them unless you get outsiders involved. In our case our mortgage insurance company. I have never been late on a payment and I can't stand this company. They are great at flooding you with junk mail on refinancing!

Planet Home Lending can be a good choice for people looking for more traditional mortgage options and who would rather work with an independent lender than a large bank. But borrowers must be comfortable with online and phone support because this lender has limited branch locations. And its lack of transparency can make researching its products, rates and terms difficult.
They keep losing my payments and keep saying that I missed a payment, even after I have shown them that they have cashed every check my bank has sent to them. They are threatening to up my mortgage rate and have said that I had sent a wierd payment to pay on the principle. I have not sent any payments, except that of which my bank automatically sends them every month. They have been harassing me for months now trying to collect an extra 3000 dollars on my mortgage because of "missed payments." No payments have ever been missed. If I get one more call, I am going to investigate as to what is going on with these people.
